THIS game was played at a very lively pace with Thistles keen to get back into winning ways.
With both Tom and Peter Davies back from illness the Thistles back four was at its strongest and needed to be, with the hard working Callington forwards making all the running and forcing a fine save from keeper Michael Fowler.
The second half saw Thistles with the wind in their faces.
The midfield of Ben Sharland, Eddie Lowe, Chris Macrae and David Yorith started to get a grip on the game.
The first goal came from a free kick
delivered by the in-form James Hobbs.
The second Thistles goal came from the hard working Sharland.
Callington got a well-earned consolation goal two minutes from time.
