BROADCASTER, actor and musician Steve Wilson from Tavistock will undertake a new career this month when he launches his 'on-line' BMX company.

Steve still appears regularly on ITV's 'This Morning' with Philip Schofield and Fern Britton. Steve is the programme's foreign travel expert and has reported from holiday destinations all round the world over the past two years.

The former Tavistock College student moved back to the area recently after several years in London and Brighton as he always intended for his children Daisy, 2, and Holly, 2 months, to be brought up locally. He now commutes to London for his TV work.

Steve is a former presenter of BBC's 'Live and Kicking' and honed his acting and presentation skill#s in plays at Plymouth's Theatre Royal, with the National Youth Music Theatre where he appeared alongside Jude law and Jonny Lee Miller, and with the English Shakespeare Company.

Steve is still a keen BMX and mountain biker and rode regularly with groups in Tavistock during the 1980s and 1990s. He is currently providing support for local campaigns to establish a BMX race track and dirt-jump #facility in the area. Steve still organises twice yearly events for veteran BMX bikers from all over the country known as the 'Old Fools'.

The company is known as 'Lifer BMX'.
