CRICKETERS are appealing for witnesses after a theft took place on the night of Saturday, June 5 at Lifton Cricket Club.

Vandals broke through the locked gate of the recreation ground in Lifton and stole the wheels from a sight screen.

The screen had been made by members of the cricket club and the wheels were from an old lawnmower.
