We are deeply indebted to David Kivell who auctioned all the products and special items that had been donated. It turned out to be a mammoth task. In fact the whole event was extremely well supported with £1,259.26 being raised.
On Sunday September 28 a car treasure hunt took place. we are very grateful to Alison Stacey who organised the event. It was well supported and greatly enjoyed by all who took part — £104 was raised.
I also say a special thank you to Terry Pearce, of Mary Tavy, who raised £237.50 from his recent sponsored slim.
All these events form a continuation of our fundraising activities to build the new sports and community centre on the recreation field in Lamerton.
We are so very grateful to everyone, and they are many, who contributed in so many ways to making these events so highly successful and enjoyable.
