I LOST my spectacles while kite flying with the grandchildren on Plaister Down on Boxing Day . I reported the loss to the police and then made arrangements to see the optician with a view to buying a new pair so you can Imagine my delight when I received a telephone call from Tavistock Police Station on Saturday January 7 to tell me that my spectacles had been handed in that morning. I asked for details of the people who had been so kind but this is not recorded so please would you publish this letter to tell them how much I appreciate their help.
