ON behalf of Tavistock Food Festival, I would like to congratulate John Taylor and Tavistock Forward for getting Tavistock straight into the final of this new and prestigious competition. The submission was onerous and clearly required great care and attention to have been so successful. Tavistock can be proud of its success as a ?foodie? town and of the evident success it enjoys as one of Britain?s Best Market Towns. Let?s keep our fingers crossed for a good clean win! It will certainly give us something to celebrate when we have our third annual Food Festival Saturday July 29 and Sunday July 30 2006.
