LAST Saturday, January 25, I was staying at the youth hostel in Okehampton with 90 ladies from Torquay.
During the afternoon I went for a walk into town and had a nasty fall. I would like to thank the passers by who came to assist me.
The lady who called an ambulance, and then allowed me to use her phone while the first responder kept me talking for about ten minutes. The nice man who ensured I kept pressure on my wounded head which was bleeding profusely. The two paramedics who arrived so quickly and were very efficient and kind, also the doctor in the minor injuries unit.
Thank you all so very much for your caring and kindness.
