MOORLAND Guides are hosting their fourth winter walk on the west side of Dartmoor next month.

On Saturday March 3, Peter Challiss will lead a six-hour walk entitled 'Ten Tors on the Western Side of Dartmoor'.

Starting a Prewley, the walk will cover the Ten Tors — Sourton Tors, Great Nodden, Arms Tor, Brat Tor, Sharp Tor, Hare Tor, Chat Tor, Great Links Tor, Green Tor, Kitty Tor, Branscombe Loaf and back to Prewley.

This will be a long walk across the moor. Lunch, full waterproof clothing and walking boots will be needed. The walk will cost £10 per head.
