ONE of the most eye-catching stands in the food hall belonged to North Tawton's Taw Valley Creamery, who were celebrating winning the supreme cheese champion and reserve champion award by handing out free samples to visitors.

The creamery won the supreme champion award for their double Gloucester and took the reserve prize for a reduced fat cheese.

Martin Mills from the creamery said: 'Things are going well here today, everyone really seems to be enjoying our cheeses. We are very happy to have won the awards, and shows how well everything is going.'

The creamery had a selection of their cheeses on offer, including a Cornish brie, goat's cheese, camembert, red Leicester and their flagship brand 'Tickler', a extra mature cheddar with a strong, tangy flavour.'
