TAVISTOCK Town secured the league with this emphatic win over Railway Beacon.

Town's Reece Watters opened the scoring after only two minutes then five minutes later Beacon hit back with an equaliser.

Town settled down and soon went 2-1 ahead and from this point on it was one-way traffic, a long range effort midway into the first-half from Dan Bailey was saved by the keeper only to be followed up and slotted home by Teigan Rosenquest who grabbed the first of his six goals.

The remainder of the first-half saw Charlie Barriball grab his second and an own goal making it 8-1 at half time.

The second-half brought plenty more action, a fine display from Max Williams who scored two goals with further goals coming from Teigan Rosenquest and George Mitchell.

This was an overall great team effort from Town who deserved and enjoyed celebrating afterwards.

THIS was a slow start for Town as they went 3-0 down after only 12 minutes played with Manstow's player of the match Jake Tucker caused Town all sorts of problems early on. It was midway into the first-half before George Mitchell stopped the deadlock and opened Towns scoring, ten minutes later Town were back in the game when Teigan Rosenquest hit Towns second, and it remained 3-2 as the whistle went for half-time.

The second-half saw Rosenquest hit the post in the first few seconds, with player of the match Reece Watters continued to supply Towns forwards who forced some good saves from Manstow's keeper.

Town dominated the second-half, winning with goals from Barriball and Rosenquest who completed his hat-trick.
