TAVISTOCK started by watching the home side score two goals within the first ten minutes of the first half.
Keeper Bradley pulled off some good saves for the visitors and with the defence of Lethbridge, Rundle, Lovett and Wood feeding the midfield to start their reply.
Tavistock settled into the game with some exciting hockey with the midfield of Barrett, Richards Barrett and Holland providing excellent support and tearing through a slightly over confident home side.
The first of five goals for the visitors came to the reverse side of Jeffery; the second goal came from what seemed to be a well rehearsed short corner with Lethbridge slotting the second.
Half time and a well earned rest brought Tavistock out of the blocks with the forwards Vinson, Daniels and Barrett creating great link up play to create goal number three with Barrett sliding in on the rear post.
Tavistock now grew in confidence and goal four came from yet another short corner with Jeffery touching a deflection past the keeper.
North Devon were unsettled and their play started to become untidy with challenges coming from all sides but unfazed by this Tavistock marched on for their fifth goal with another short corner scored by Lethbridge.
