BOTH sides launched straight into an exciting game, which was more evenly matched than the score would suggest.

The Tavistock team (pictured right) played positively with newcomer Nick having a great game until he had to retire early after a clash of heads.

Charlie opened the scoring with a try converted by Matt, though Liskeard replied almost immediately. Charlie scored again within minutes. Harvey had a great run towards the end of the first half, offloading perfectly for Angus to score; this was dule converted by Harry.

Liskeard scored an excellent try early in the second half, and kicked their penalties effectively, but were unable to break through the Tavistock defence.

Angus, James and Charlie scored three more tries for Tavistock, converted by James, Harvey and Christian.
