AFTER taking a break this month, a spoken word poetry evening will return in Tavistock on Sunday, September 10.

Poetry evenings will now take place in the upstairs private room at Church Lane from 7pm to 9pm, following the closure of Too Hoppy on Brook Street last month.

Poetry evenings welcome everyone in the town and its surrounding areas to socialise, listen to and read poetry, whether penned by themselves or a poet or poets they love, in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
