TAVISTOCK residents can get started on their Christmas shopping this weekend at the Tavistock Parish Church's Christmas Fair.

Visitors can shop, have some lunch and chance their luck on a number of raffles and the grand draw, with a star prize of Brittany Ferries travel vouchers to the value of £250.

Children can visit Father Christmas in his grotto, and the Stannary Brass Band will be playing carols in Bedford Square.

The fair will take place this Saturday (November 20), in Tavistock Town Hall, starting at 10.30am.
