THIS time last year Jane and Andy Morton set off from Weir Quay, near Bere Ferrers on an epic 2,500-mile journey around the whole of the United Kingdom, including Ireland — by kayak!

Now safely back home, they are giving an illustrated talk of their extraordinary record-breaking achievement on Wednesday, April 9 at Buckland Chapel, Buckland Monachorum.

They are hoping to raise money for the RNLI and two other local charities. Entrance is free but a suggested voluntary donation of £5 is requested on the night.
