THERE?S an opportunity to have great fun and raise much needed charity cash at a special event taking place this summer. Hospiscare, which supports patients with life-threatening illnesses and their families in the Okehampton area, is organising its first ever human table football tournament ? and is looking for teams in the area to take part. Human table football is like a giant inflatable version of the game, where teams of five compete against each other to win the tournament. Louise Reilly, Hospiscare fundraiser, said: ?This promises to be great entertainment, whether you are taking part or spectating. ?Make sure you get on with your team well, as the trick is to move in the same direction at the same time!? The tournament will be held at the hospice in Exeter on July 2. Teams of five can enter for £50 and are asked to raise sponsorship, with a prize being awarded to the team which raises the most.
