Money raised by Jazz at the Bridge held at Harford Bridge Holiday Park in July enabled the Lions Club of Tavistock to present a cheque for £2,000 to St Luke?s Hospice. Lions Club president Lyn Roberts and Paul Congo who organised the event presented the cheque to Jane Portman, local representative of St Luke?s. Mrs Portman, who was responsible for organising the first Jazz at the Bridge three years ago, said she was delighted to receive the money on behalf of the hospice and that she was pleased the Lions were continuing to run the event with St Luke?s as the main recipient.
