A GROUP of 16 French visitors from Mathieu in Normandy recently spent the weekend with host families from the Burrator Twinning Association.

The group enjoyed a busy weekend which included a trip to the Charlestown Shipwreck and Heritage Centre, a Cornish pasty lunch, a visit to Fowey and dinner at the Terrace Restaurant in Tavistock.

The event was deemed highly successful weekend, made all the more enjoyable by the weather. The group is looking forward to visiting Mathieu in 2014.
