THE streets of Callington were filled with the sound of music last Saturday, as the town staged the third annual MayFest.

The town centre was closed to traffic as dancers young and not so young celebrated the arrival of spring with music provided by Callington Town Band.

A special feature of this year's event were some spectaular giants made by children from primary schools and other local organisations.
