THE recent Walkhampton Art and Craft Exhibition was deemed a very successful and well-recieved show by organisers, raising a substantial sum of money for various causes.

A total of £352.63 was raised from donations to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, £1,500 made in commission on sales, entry fees, paintings, craft tables and a raffle which will go to Walkhampton Memorial Hall, and a donation of more than £500 from the sale of refreshments to Walkhampton Church.

Organisers expressed thanks to all those who contributed to the exhibition and look forward to welcoming everyone again next year.
