THIS first match of the season, away against Crediton, was played in glorious sunshine and Okehampton ran in 12 tries to 1.
The Okehampton lads moved the ball well between forwards and backs, scoring some excellent tries.
Try scorers were Rob Long, Will Heard, Rory Honeychurch, Tom Browne, Stuart Bennie, Carl Poynton, Scott Simpson and Jake Chisholm.
Will Heard has been elected as captain for the forthcoming season with last season?s captain, Jake Chisholm, being vice-captain. Thanks were expressed to Jake for his excellent work and leadership last season.
