LAMERTON Pony Club member Lizzie Luxton from Lifton has returned from the pony club championships at Sansaw, Shropshire, where she rode her homebred ?The Lambeth Walk?. Lizzie was placed second in her arena for dressage and tenth nationally overall on the first day. The second day saw her compete in dressage to music, gaining 70% and finishing sixth. She then went on to do the horse trials on the final day where she finished in the middle of her section. Lizzie has also recently won the junior regional novice eventing in Salisbury, which now qualifies her for her first major (CIC 1*) three day event at Weston Park, Shropshire in October.
