WEST Devon and the Tamar Valley?s artistic community is inviting everyone to share in their ?Drawn to the Valley?, and West Devon?s ?Nine Days of Art? open studios events next month. Drawn to the Valley takes place between September 2 and 10 and Nine Days of Art will be from September 9 to 17. Last year, one visitor to a studio described his day as, ?Looking for treasure!?. You can meet nearly seventy artists in their individual studios, kitchens, living rooms and other venues. Everyone is welcome. Come and chat informally about the creative process and your imagination will be captured. Be tantalised by the work. Explore the venues, enjoy the atmosphere and hopefully find something special to take home with you. Why not make a day of it? Plan your visits interspersed by a delicious lunch or tea at one of the many hostelries en route.
