TICKETS are still available for The Tavonians Theatre Company's production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the Wharf in Tavistock.

The production will run from December 1 to 4 and the company is being supported by younger cast members from Tavistock's TC2 drama club.

Based upon the classic CS Lewis children's novel, The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe follows the adventures of evacuees Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy, who discover a wardrobe that is a gateway to secret world.

It is always winter but never Christmas in Narnia, which lies under a spell cast by the terrible White Witch. Together with Aslan, a lion, the children must discover how to break the spell, bringing sunshine and happiness back to the land.

Due to some scenes featuring wicked spell-making and extreme nastiness to fauns and humans, parents are advised that the production may be a little alarming for the very young.

There is a guest appearance from Father Christmas however, and a happy ending.
