AN Edwardian garden party will be held at Coombe Trenchard on Friday, June 28 from 2pm to 5.30pm in aid of the Children's Hospice South West.

This will be an opportunity to experience a more genteel era in authentic surroundings.

Activities will include walks around the sculptural art in the garden as well as croquet and other games on the lawn. An artist in residence, Nicholas St John Rosse, will be painting on the terrace.

While visitors enjoy afternoon tea, Graham Leverett will play piano music of the time. Costumed volunteers will add to the enjoyment.?Visitors who would like to don period dress are welcome to do so.
