PRINCETOWN residents will have an opportunity to find out more about the work of their local firefighters at the fire station's community open day held at the primary school. The event takes place on Saturday, August 25 between noon and 4pm and is open to all. The afternoon offers a full itinerary of demonstrations and live displays for all the family to enjoy. Visitors can learn more about the work firefighters do and how to improve fire safety.

Activities to include a station visit and tour of fire engine, community fire safety, local ambulance service, bouncy castle, a live band, specialist rescue team demonstration, meet Blaze Bear, raffle and barbecue and light refreshments.
