THE Tavistock Friends Group of Children's Hospice South West and the Southern Troopers held a collection day at Morrisons in Tavistock, earlier this month.

Thanks to the generosity of shoppers, £763.28 was collected on the day.

The Southern Troopers raise money for Children's Hospice South West by entertaining the public with their Star Wars costumes.

The characters amazed many people, especially fans of Star Wars who were delighted to be photographed with them. The Storm Troopers can be contacted on 01752 851216.
