ST Ann?s Chapel Football Club held its presentation evening at the Red and Black Club, Tavistock, on July 8. Trophies were presented to: Players? player, Jason Webber; player of the year, joint Dan Follett, Rob Jinman; young player, Joe Hodgkiss; club person, Mike Blowey; most improved, Paul Rowe. St Ann?s players will be turning out for the Union Inn at Langsford Park against Tavistock Tyres on Sunday August 19, kick off 2pm. The game will be raising money for ?Sunrise?, a charity that helps autistic children. The club expressed thanks to sponsors, including the Tavistock Arms Hotel at Gunnislake for excellent food after home matches and to all the local businesses who contribute each year. Training is held on Thursday evenings on the St Ann?s Chapel Field, and the club would welcome any new players for the 2007-2008 season. The club are currently playing friendly matches.
