THE Thursday July 7 show at King?s in Tavistock featuring London act The LoveGods ? hailed as the ?next big thing? by a national newspaper ? and Seth Lakeman is now being supported by the leading Vodka brand, Smirnoff. Martin Griffin of Onlive Sounds who is promoting the event with Tavistock Music Live said: ?The Onlive Sounds aim is to develop a new national circuit of venues and present great live music where currently there?s little or none available.? He said major sponsorship will make the project grow far more quickly. ?To have an international brand?s support on this early gig in Tavistock is a tremendous bonus.? It was to have been announced that local rock heroes, Relentless, would open the evening but power drummer, Jack, has broken a bone in his hand. ?It?s very disappointing that Relentless can?t play ?but it does mean that we will enjoy longer sets from the LoveGods and Seth!? said Martin.
