THE officer in charge of the Plymouth and Cornwall Wing Air Training Corps, Wing Comm Mike Symons came to Crelake Barracks, Tavistock, recently to present a special award to civilian instructor Paul Johnson. Paul received a certificate of merit in respect of his five years? service with 2312 (Tavistock) Sqn ATC, helping to run their busy programme. A founder member of the Tavistock Outdoor Education Forum, Paul has provided caving and climbing activities and organised kayaking for the cadets. He has also instructed in propulsion, map reading and first aid as well as model making and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
