TAVISTOCK Musical Theatre Company (TMTC) has been forced to cancel its Speak Like a Cockney event scheduled for this weekend and its autumn show.

The Speak like a Cockney event was meant to take place this Saturday (August 20) in Bedford Square, but due to unforeseen circumstances the group has been forced to cancel.

It has also been forced to cancel its autumn show Me and My Girl, scheduled for Tavistock Wharf in October.

TMTC member Pete Clement said that while the cancellations were disappointing, TMTC would re-group to consider its next move for future events.

Group meetings will carry on as normal at Kingdon House on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.
