Okehampton 1st XV 19 Plymouth Civil Service 1st XV 3 OKEHAMPTON started the game well with three changes in the backs and Ali Mason returning to the forwards. After exchanging penalties Okehampton scored their first try. Following several phases of play the ball was moved wide with Tom Powell stepping off his wing to score a good try, converted by Lee Carey. The forwards were always on top and were rewarded half way through the first half with a well taken Ali Mason try. The second half still saw Okehampton on top but with some ill discipline never managing to regain the first half tempo, and having to settle for two Lee Carey penalties. The game saw yet another debut in Peter Herrod Taylor, who had a solid game in the centre. This week?s match is Bideford, away in the NPI Cup.
