TAVISTOCK Pannier Market trader David Evans is not offering £1,000 reward, as reported in the Times last week, for information leading to the arrest of thieves who stole 400 videos.

He is offering a small reward but the figure of £1,000 was in fact the value of the videos stolen from the market between 7.30pm on Friday, November 23 and 8am on Saturday, November 24.

Fellow stall holders held a whip-round and raised £345 to help Mr Evans purchase some new stock. If anyone has any information concerning the theft they are asked to contact PC Stuart Gibbons at Tavistock Police Station.
