SEVEN intrepid Okehampton ladies undertook a 17-mile sponsored walk between Lewdown and Okehampton on Saturday to raise money for a children's charity.
They walked the scenic route via Bratton Clovelly and Northlew and survived the hills and were spared the rain!
Their efforts raised a splendid £1,024 for Clic Sargent, the children's cancer charity.
The ladies expressed thanks to everyone who supported their trek and especially the Clovelly Inn and Winnie Davey for their kind hospitality.
