STARTING slowly due to a lot of changes and uncontested scrums, the super twos put together some thrilling rugby in the last 20 minutes of the first half, with tries from Julian Courtier, Phil Jones, Buzz Brimacombe and man of the match Phil Harding, to lead 31-0 at half-time.

The second half started differently, though, with Devonport Services on top and the seconds' defence showing some unusual kinks, even though they still finished the stronger, with tries from George Trerise, Buzz Brimacombe and, making a rare appearance, coach Sion Taylor, finished the game on a high and set up a good night on the 'fun bus' with Simon Burdie's hymn book!
