Searching for a Hardy

COULD I ask for some information through your columns please? For some years I have been tracing the relatives of the writer Thomas Hardy.

I understand that Miss Margaret Hardy, the granddaughter of his cousin and childhood playmate, Augustus Hardy, lived and taught at Okehampton. It is believed that she may have died in the early 1990s in a nursing home at Chagford.

I would very much like to hear from anyone who remembers Miss Hardy and who might be able to tell me exactly when she died and if she is buried at Okehampton. I will, of course, refund any postage.
