TWO Mount House School year 8 pupils have been awarded scholarships to prestigious senior schools.

Head girl Samantha Unsworth-White has been awarded both an academic and a music scholarship to Blundell's School. Samantha has enjoyed much success as a scholar and musician at Mount House and recently was a joint winner of the junior vocal duo at Saltash Music Festival.

Ed Fitzgerald has won an all-rounder award to Downside. Ed has played rugby for the first VII and first XV.  He has also played at second team level in hockey and cricket. He enjoys drama, has been learning the piano for two years and is a regular member of the weekly current affairs club.
