A Devon transport loan scheme is offering free motorcycle training to people in the area.

Devon Wheels 2 Work is a motorcycle and scooter loan scheme designed to help people aged 16 to 65 access employment, education and training opportunities.

The scheme has a limited amount of funding available until March, to offer free CBTs and free helmet, motorcycle jacket and gloves when signing up for a six-month loan. This is offered on a first come, first served basis and is a great opportunity to get on the road.

Max Jowett, chief executive, said: 'We are really pleased to offer this incentive to local people throughout Devon and expect there to be a high demand so get in early to avoid disappointment.'

There are both 55cc and 125cc motorcycles and scooters available for loan from £22 per week, inclusive. All bikes are taxed, insured and maintained by a team of technicians.
