A DISPLAY of oil paintings by landscape painter Paul Vachon starts off the beginning of the tourist season at the Museum of Dartmoor Life in Okehampton.
The exhibition starts on Monday (March 30) and includes paintings, many of which are inspired by, and feature, Dartmoor scenes.
Paul, who has 30 years of experience in the advertising industry, has now settled in Okehampton and devotes his time to his passion for art.
He is also a member of the North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team, the Okehampton section of the Dartmoor Rescue Group.
A percentage of the proceeds from sales at the exhibition will be donated to the DRG.
The Museum of Dartmoor Life is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.15am to 4.30pm.
