RETRACING part of her 1856 journey up the Tamar, 'Queen Victoria' will be arriving at Morwellham Quay by boat on August 13 at 11.30am, for a day of royal celebration with fun activities for all ages.
In her private journal, the real queen said she had 'never seen anything finer' when she came to the Tamar Valley.
The 'Queen' is expected to stop at the village school and talk to the children about the four Rs, copperplate handwriting and good posture.
To see the Queen on this celebratory day you will need to arrive by 11am.
