THE Rotary Club of Tavistock has contributed towards the £800 for expenses for expenses that 21-year-old university graduate Imogen Chorogzewska needed to raise in order to carry out work for the charity VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) in Zimbabwe. Imogen, currently working at Country Cheeses in Tavistock, leaves on September 15 to conduct a ten-week programme at a village school near Plumtree, teaching children about sexual health and reproductive rights. She thanked the club for the cheque, which was handed over by Rotary president, Tony Everitt. Tony said that the club was able to help a limited number of young people with these projects and felt sure that both Imogen and her pupils would benefit greatly from the experience.
