THE Rock Inn at Yelverton was full to overflowing at the weekend with hundreds of people enjoying the sixth annual RockFest. Twelve bands took to the stage throughout the weekend, from Friday evening to early evening on Sunday, with a variety of well-established local bands and some new talent. The festival started as a celebration of the pub being run by the same family for 120 years and was so successful it has been held every year since. Owner Sue Callow said: 'It was absolutely packed — very well supported. All the local residents enjoyed it and everyone seemed to have a really good time.' As well as the music, the pub held a tug-of-war match during the day on Saturday.
