POLICE are appealing for information after a robbery at knifepoint at the Shell Service Station at Sourton on Sunday.

Police said that one man entered the premises around 9.30pm and demanded money from the cash till with a knife.

There was another man waiting outside and they made off with around £200.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Police have issued a description of the men.

The first was white, 5ft 9ins, aged 20-25 and of slim build.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded top, a dark green, slightly padded thigh length jacket which had a circular emblem on the chest.

He was also wearing blue jeans and black trainers, was unshaven and had no accent.

The second man was around 6ft 3ins tall, aged 20 to 25, possibly younger, and was wearing a black puffa jacket with a hood and dark jeans.
