MARY Tavy Parish Council recently received a boost to funds to help carry out repair work to the village bus shelter.

The council recently agreed to take over responsibility for the bus shelter and received a grant of £500 from Devon County councillor Kevin Ball.
The money will be used to carry out repairs and paint the shelter.
