WORK is in full flow to renovate St Bridget’s Church at Bridestowe and part of that has been to uncover the striking floor which has been covered in carpet since the 1960s. In part of the floor is a plaque — pictured here with church committee members looking on — in memory of two brothers who died in 1751. Work is also taking place on the roof which has been helped with a £50,000 Church Roof Grant from the Government.
