PARKING in Tavistock's Bedford public car park will be reduced this month because of resurfacing work.

Weather permitting, the works will take place on Monday, October 24, Tuesday October 25 and Wednesday 26.

The majority of the car park will still be accessible but areas will be coned off.

Drivers are requested to approach the entrance with caution and drive slowly in the car park.

The adjacent Wharf car park will be unaffected but drivers are asked to use caution on the thoroughfare to this car park.

The footpath from Plymouth Road into Bedford car park will be closed for part of the works and during this time pedestrians are asked to access the Wharf and Bedford car parks via Canal Road. Signage will be in place to re-direct the public.

West Devon Borough Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these essential works.
