THE Stannary Surgery was awash with red recently as doctors and staff donned red t-shirts for the British Heart Foundation.

The Tavistock surgery took part in the British Heart Foundation's Wear Something Red campaign to raise money for the charity.

Stannary Surgery's office manager Jen Pearce said: 'We decorated the reception with red ribbons and balloons and all the staff, including the doctors, wore red British Heart Foundation t-shirts.

'All the staff made donations and we had the charity's little hearts on sale at reception, which patients bought.'

The surgery's red day raised £101.75 for the foundation.
