THE new academic year started at Mount House School with 62 children joining ? more than in any previous term. There are 46 new starters in the main part of the school, and a further 16 have joined the pre-prep department. The main school starters are 27 boys and 19 girls. Most of the children live in Devon and Cornwall, but several are from families who have recently relocated to the South West from other parts of the country. In the pre-prep department the new children are all from Devon and Cornwall, with ten girls and six boys starting this term.
