HORRABRIDGE pushed the visiting team back into their own half with a spirited fast flowing game that at times baffled Goosewell.
Two first half goals came from Matthew Gaden and Aaron Gaden. Goosewell were pinned back into their own half for the majority of the first period yet managed to break away and score.
The second half started with attacks from Goosewell using the slope. The Bridger's midfielders worked hard and there was a headed goal from Matthew Gaden.
Horrabridge pumped shots at goal from every angle and this typified the goal of David Harris, which was hit from 18 yards.
Horrabridge's outside midfielders put some good balls into the goal area which led to Michael Cornish bundling one past the keeper.

Tavistock Thistles 1
HORRABRIDGE took the lead from a Matthew Gaden goal. This did not downhearten the Thistles team, who carried on playing a pacey game.
But Horrabridge dominated and played telling balls that cut through the Tavistock defence. Richard Goldsby-West was commanding in the midfield, Matthew Milburn with Aaron and Ashley Gaden, worked hard to make it difficult for Thistles to pass.
Midway through the half Horrabridge were awarded a penalty from which Craig Mulholland scored his first goal in DJM football. Matthew Gaden scored his second before the half was up.
The second half started well for Horrabridge who scored in the first minute as David Harris robbed the ball off Thistles from the kick-off, dribbled past four players and drove it into the roof of the net.
Thistles scored a consolation goal partway through the half.
The Horrabridge defensive unit was excellent and coped with all the situations thrown at them.
Another goal from Mulholland finished the game off as a competition.

HORRABRIDGE pushed for goals from the start. Dominic Beech, captain, put in some crunching tackles to break down the visiting team's attacks.
As Horrabridge pushed on with numerous free kicks and corners the hard work they had put in on the training ground paid off with a Harri Hardy header.
In the second half Horrabridge pounded the Torpoint goal but the defence were inspired to stop the attack.
