U15 Royal Oak Division Cup

Elburton Villa 0

Horrabridge Rangers 5

THIS was a game in which the team showed everybody how well they are playing. Elburton started brightly but could not stop the Horrabridge steamroller for long.

The passing of Dominic and Richard split the Elburton side continuously. The tackling of the midfield was ferocious. The outside midfielders supported the attacks beautifully with Aaron and Ashley putting good ball into the home box, both scoring from rasping shots from outside the penalty area.

The positive runs of the Horrabridge forwards, David and Matthew had the home team mesmerised, and both weighted in with a goal each before the half was over.

The second half started as the first had finished with Horrabridge in the ascendancy, not

letting Elburton settle on the ball without a player tackling for it.

The goal in this half was scored by Harri and came from a weak clearance. It was hit from 30 yards and the goalkeeper was beaten as soon as the ball was struck

Man of the match: Dominic Beech.
